Severn Tunnel Band is a brass band, formed in 1923 and over the years the playing improved and the band started entering contests. Today the band is a thriving community and has a very busy calendar throughout out the year, including contests, fetes, concerts and Carol playing. The Severn Tunnel Band is a valuable entertainment source for the community of Caldicot and is often called upon to lighten up occasions and march through the streets.
The last year saw the band achieve a great promotion to the third section, where they will meet harder competition and will hopefully have a chance at improving further!

Best wishes to several of our members who embarking on their university studies .
We have vacancies for solo cornet and bass players in particular but all new players are welcome.

This years summer camping trip to the Gower was again a great success.
