The Severn Tunnel Band now holds their rehearsals at the ASDA Distribution Centre, Chepstow. The Band is delighted with the new rehearsal facilities, which have been made available to them at the Centre as a part of ASDA’s Community Life initiative.

It is with regret that we announce the resignation of Josh as conductor. We thank him for his hard work and commitment over the last eighteen months culminating in our appearance at the National Finals. We wish Josh every success for the future.

Congratulations to all who took place in the Greater Gwent Solo and Ensemble Competition on Saturday. Well done to Maya Ross who was placed 3rd in the 11 an under slow melody section and Ieuan Lucas who achieved 3rd place in the 12 – 13 slow melody section. The band are very pleased with achieving first place at Weston-Super-Mare on Sunday, playing the piece “Music from kantara”. We are looking forward to both our annual concert and to competing in the national finals!

The band are very pleased with achieving third place at the Ebbw Vale competition in the third section. We are looking forward to competing in Weston-super-Mare in May!
