The band are very pleased with achieving third place at the Ebbw Vale competition in the third section. We are looking forward to competing in Weston-super-Mare in May!

The Severn Tunnel Band recently qualified for the National Finals of Great Britain! We are looking to recruit and fill our vacancies in time for this event! Currently the band are seeking both Eb and Bb Bass players and cornets (both front and backrow)

The band are delighted to have received first place at the Welsh regional championships 2012 in Swansea today. They are now looking forward to conpeting in the national championships of Great Britain. The band would like to thank Waitrose of the donation of £460 through the Waitrose ‘Community Matters’ initiative.

The band are happy to announce that they achieved second place at the Blaenavon brass band competition!

The band are pleased with their result of 3rd place at Burryport competition playing Laudaute Dominum, and are looking forward to competing at Blaenavon!

The annual concert will be held at Caldicot Choir Hall on Friday 15th July 2011 at 7:30 PM. Tickets cost £6 adults and £4 concessions. A free buffet is available in the interval.

Congratulations to the junior band who came second on Saturday in the under 15′s ensemble. Well done to all of the juniors who took part in the solo competition.
